Pot Church Busted

Ontario
-------
HAMILTON ( CNS ) - Two men who operated a church where marijuana was sold as a sacrament here, were sentenced to prison Friday. Michael Baldasaro was sentenced to two years in jail while Walter Tucker will spend one year behind bars in connection with selling marijuana at the Church of the Universe.

In handing down his ruling, the judge called the operation "a marijuana convenience store that operates for profit like a prohibition-era speakeasy, but disguised as a church."

Baldasaro and Tucker maintain that God tells them to smoke marijuana and pass joints to their Church of the Universe parishioners.

The case of the two men, who also lived in the church, made history in Hamilton because it's the first time a residence has been seized under the drug law.

"This will send the message that if you're going to carry on trafficking in drugs, growing drugs, on your premise or residence, it can be forfeited as offence-related property," added Hamilton Police officer Bob MacDonald.

Pot Church Busted

The american version:

In April of 2006, Rev. CraigX Rubin founded Temple 420 as a refuge for the spiritual growth of the 420 Nation. A Judeo-Christian Fellowship with the belief that the Ten Commandments are the moral and spiritual guide that G-D has given us. The Fellowship holds Cannabis as a sacrament, as mentioned in both the Old and New Testament, and most specifically in Revelation 22:2 as a plant for the healing of all nations.

In early November of 2006 the Los Angeles Police Department arrested Rev. Rubin at the temple under a warrant obtained under dubious circumstances, which failed to acknowledge the fact that the temple is a legitimate religious organization, and thus entitled to specific protections under the law. The case is slowly wending its way through the court system and has yet to go to trial. More recently, the landlord of the building where Temple 420 is located broke the lease, so a move is in progress. Rev. Rubin has also filed a $30 million lawsuit against the LAPD.

Meanwhile, Temple 420 continues to hold services:

Fridays at sundown, for Sabbath candlelighting.
Saturdays at 4:20pm for an Old Testament.
Sundays at 4:20pm for a New Testament.

Thursdays at 8:30pm is Comedy night, which is secular (i.e. not religious) but a lot of fun in any case.

As we are in transition, it is probably a good idea to call Rev. Rubin to be sure we will be holding a specific service, or if you have any questions, he will be more than happy to answer them. Please have patience as he is quite busy at this time.

Please join us if you have the chance!

We have been fooled brethren. It is the oil of the plant that performs healing miracles not smoking. Research your medical marijuana laws. The oil is off limits even in California under prop 215. One of the most amazing documentaries i have seen in my entire life is rick simpson's run from the cure. here is proof the OIL heals cancer. Link to video in my previous post last February:

The st0ckman will end this Sunday post with THE WORD:

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. Genesis 1:29
